While reports have said dermal filler treatments are reducing by 33% year on year, those in the know believe in the rise of ‘undetectable dermal fillers’. A key factor in achieving this is practitioner techniques, but also choosing the appropriate dermal filler. Natali Kelly, a renowned nurse with 20 years of experience, explains why the undetectable approach is more successful than ever. Plus, how Revanesse® HA dermal filler is the perfect partner for her artistry, delivering natural-looking results.
What are undetectable dermal filler treatments?
I’ve always believed that dermal fillers should be completely undetectable. Over the past 15 years, I’ve developed techniques that not only ensure my patients can return to work or home without anyone noticing, but also result in long-term, natural-looking results. Even after a decade of treatments, my patients maintain a youthful appearance without any visible signs of migration, and no corrective work required. My approach is to respect the anatomy of the face and treat conservatively, ensuring that results are both
subtle and natural.
Why is this approach so popular in your practice?
Firstly, I am a minimalist by nature, which is evident in my artistry and how I design my clinic and patient’s faces. I’ve seen first-hand how many patients are apprehensive about dermal fillers due to concerns about downtime, unnatural results and invasive procedures. This led me to develop injection techniques that are minimally invasive so I could build trust, ensuring safety and satisfaction. I like to educate my patients and empower them to maintain individual beauty, enhancing their features and profile balancing.
My clientele often includes high-profile individuals in their 20s to 40s who seek preventative ageing and beautification treatments.
Given their public profiles, often filming for TV or media campaigns, discretion and undetectability is paramount. They trust my approach of ‘less is more’, and believe in the long-term commitment it can take to do miniscule, detailed work. It is very rare that I will inject more than 2-3mls at one time.
What dermal filler do you choose for the ‘undetectable’ approach?
It’s crucial to select a dermal filler you can trust to deliver consistent results without unwanted post-procedure inflammation. I choose the Revanesse® HA dermal filler range due to its low inflammatory properties, which not only align with my subtle technique, but also make it one of the most comfortable options for my patients.
Interestingly, Revanesse® was the first dermal filler I chose to be injected into my own face and lips. I personally visited the Canadian lab to witness the artisanal manufacturing process firsthand, and was impressed by the extensive measures taken to reduce reactive agents.
Revanesse® particles are designed to be spherical, allowing for a smooth injection and enhancing biocompatibility. The filler is also pre-hydrated to prevent excess water absorption, minimising swelling after treatment. This means patients can resume their normal activities without their treatment being detectable.
Reducing the risk of reactions down the line, Revanesse® uses minimal foreign bodies. Having a high molecular weight hyaluronic acid requires minimal cross-linking agent (BDDE). Plus, a special purification process also removes more toxins from the formulation.
Why is Revanesse® your ultimate choice in your clinic?
In my opinion, using Revanesse® with my techniques allows for minimal downtime, less swelling and a long-term reduction in the risk of post-inflammatory complications, ensuring undetectable results and patient satisfaction.
Revanesse® offers a range of products tailored to different patient needs, allowing for personalised treatments and natural-looking results. With this in mind, the range is rapidly growing into a very popular choice among practitioners worldwide, currently used in more than 80 countries.
Harley Academy provides excellent training in Revanesse®, to ensure more practitioners uncover the secret of undetectable filler artistry.
